Badam Halwa Recipe




Ingredients:

• 50 Almonds
• 3 cups Sugar
• 2 cups Ghee
• 3 strings of Saffron

Method:
• Soak the saffron in few drops of milk.
• Soak the almonds in hot water. Remove the skin off and grind it to a coarse paste.
• In a hot pan, add the sugar and little water. Leave it to a boil.
• Take a teaspoon of the syrup, hold the syrup inbetween your thumb and forefinger and drag it. If it forms a strong string, it is the right time to add the almond paste.
• Add the almond paste and mix well.
• Add the ghee in small portions and keep mixing.
• Add the soaked saffron along with the milk.
• Mix well and remove from heat and allow it to cool.
• Badam Halwa is ready to eat.
